Production Planner Job Responsibilities Include

  • Production Planner processes engineering releases and revisions BOM plots to other teams.
  • Use SAP to convert planned orders into production orders.
  • Expedite rush, spare parts, and warranty release orders
  • Create and schedule routings
  • Process labor Uploads for Kronos to SAP
  • Process downloads of data form SAP to Kronos
  • Maintain Production Order Operations/Activities in Kronos as needed
  • Process and close out work orders
  • Process production schedule for weekly meeting
  • BOM Plotting of all Engineering Drawings for the Shop
  • Other duties as assigned

Production Planner Required Education and Experience

  • Two years data entry experience
  • Understanding MRP concepts
  • Understanding production planning process
  • Understanding Bill of Material structure
  • SAP experience
  • Manufacturing environment background helpful
  • Previous experience with manufacturing drawings helpful
