Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design stainless steel food processing systems in Autodesk Inventor 3D.
  • Create sheet metal parts for fabrication on laser and press brake, tube and pipe components and weldments, and complete mechanical assemblies.
  • Engineering Layout Drawing (ELD) generation based on design parameters from the Project Engineer.
  • Create drawings of Inventor models and assemblies after ELD approval for release to manufacturing.
  • Production planning, including:
    • Mechanical release from engineering to manufacturing
    • Coordinate purchasing of special or custom materials
    • Plotting all drawings.

Qualifications

  • BSME or Associates degree in Drafting & Design
  • AutoCAD Inventor 3D design software required.
  • Experience with sheet metal and structural steel preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
